Welcome to the RSPCA Essex North East Branch
We are a registered charity, fully licensed by the
RSPCA to operate an animal clinic.
We are not in competition with local vets, but do work closely
with them to ensure that no animal in our area, who is in need,
goes unattended.We have highly qualified vets attending our clinic regularly.
They do this in addition to their own veterinary practice.
We cannot offer surgical procedures as we do not have the
equipment to support such procedures.
Any animal requiring surgical procedures can be accommodated by
our participating vet's, or can be referred to a veterinary
practice of the owner's choosing.
The cost of any procedures required is the responsibility of
the animal's owner. Our participating vets do give a reasonable
discount, and in some cases, we can provide a voucher for some
of the cost, but the ultimate responsibility for payment rests
with the animals owner.
 The Clinic
The clinic is (at present) open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
mornings from 9:15am to 11:15am, by appointment only. The
consultation fee is £10.00 for each animal, and any drugs
dispensed are charged in addition to the consultation fee. Drugs
are charged at reduced rates. All costs are required to cover
vet fees, drugs and running costs of the clinic.
